This unique, contemporary-style property was built only four years ago to a very high specification and an individual design, thus setting it apart from the traditional image of the Spanish villa.
Instead of arches and terracotta tiles, the architect has skillfully combined modern lines with antique Italian marble and beautiful dark hardwood throughout.
Built on one level, the floor size is 215 sq m. The rooms are large, light and airy with high ceilings and walls of windows showing off the breathtaking views from every room.
Bedrooms.
The master suite occupies one side of the house and has a large walk-in wardrobe and full marble bathroom. Floor to ceiling double doors open onto the terrace and pool area.
Three further double bedrooms, including the guest suite with en-suite shower room and another marble bathroom, lie on the other side of the property, affording total privacy for the master suite.
Living/dining room.
There is a modern fireplace in the sitting room with built-in hardwood bookshelves either side. The living space and dining area has one entire wall of double opening hardwood French doors opening onto the covered patio, terracing and the 10m x 5m pool. This whole area, both inside and out, is ideal for entertaining in style.
Kitchen.
The large kitchen is fully fitted with high quality white units with double-thickness black granite worktops and splashbacks. The double-width oven, ceramic hob, fridge and dishwasher are all by Bosch. There is a separate pantry and a laundry/utility room. The flooring is in easy-care ceramic tiles.
Outside features.
The house is approached through electric gates leading to the large parking area.
The property in total comprises 3000 sq m of fenced land, of which 2000 sq m is a walled formal garden in which the villa stands. Surrounding the house is 500 sq m of terracing.
There is a newly-laid 200 sq m Royal Grass lawn surrounding the pool which requires no maintenance. This leads naturally down to some stone steps, a rockery and a gazebo. All ideally placed to enjoy the views and tranquility in privacy.
